Zitat von ZooM_ POLAND
And tell me what you thin'k about BING17 ?Hi!
The BING number 17 carburator was used at simson bikes since the 1990s because the older BVF carburators were not longer produced at this time.
I do not like this BING because he only has an 15mm small diameter. the older BVF carburators has an 16mm diameter.
this means it will cost a littel bit of power if you use the bing number 17.
the only (!) advantage of the bing is that he is easilier adjusted and not so abreded as the old bvf carburators.
for tuning is the bing absolutly not usable!
my result: please use an bvf carburator and buy some new parts for them... this is cheaper and better than the bing-shit!

The BING 17 carburettor is not as bad as the guys wanted to tell you.
With the 15 mm power pack, the simmi-engine becomes a nice handling on gas. With Bing, you can ride the engine about 500 r/min slower. Of course you will not have the same power at the limits, but who cares. The other advantage of a good working Bing is a very low fuel consumption. It is possible to ride a S51 up to 400 km, gonna try this with a BVF.
15 mm is enough for the 50 ccm Simmi-engine. Bing is also used on 70 ccm engine, so you see it is no problem (I never would use a 15 mm carburettor on the 70 ccm engine but it works). At least it's not for tuning, but it's perfect for the MS 50.

With Bing you can throw your SR away! Rotations are fun.. and 500 rpm less are noticeably. In fact, driving with lower rotations as orginal are funless
Oh, i've vorgotten to say: Thats my personal opinion. Other drivers can see this on other wise.
-
The Bing makes about 7500 r/min and I think this is enough. This is the next advantage - the engine is not able to go in regions where it can take damages. You stay in the green area wherever you drive. The result is a very long-life engine (I ran about 38.000 km and it works like on first day.
)
-
Sry, but long life is gay, for anyboy how wants to tune up his SR
-
I didn't know that he wants to go a little bit faster... ok so you're right in this case, throw the Bing away (or give it to me  ) (ich hasse englische Zeitformen... grrr)
-
English discussion is much funny, you don't think so? And we can lern, how to speak with other contrys! In future, we have a world wide forum.
Edit: Why you have edit your post? In the first case, it was correctly written, i think,
Edit2: Ich auch

Next question
Do you have in German. Polnish importers ? for the tuning parts ?
We have tuning we delete this plomb (see picture) and Simson is "more live"
