Thanks for the answers guys, I will be using the old ddr kolben to try the zylinder, if it all works out I'll get an mza einring kolben since it's the best you can get in Bulgaria and ordering a better one from Germany doesn't fit financially for now. I will make sure to check the piston skirt if it covers einlass /auslass completely and also I should avoid nebenauslässe going over piston pin holes right? It will create shortcircuit with uberstromer and I don't think that would be good. I can post pictures of my project, but I can't write in Deutsch and google translate is probably horrible. But still if there's interest I can make a thread, hope it's not a problem I'm writing in English.

Hello, sorry for using google translate. Has anyone ran the piston backwards with the piston ring locating pins facing einlass? I'm building a 60er cylinder with 5 uberstromer and nebenauslässe with pretty standart flushing, but in order to have nebenauslässe big enough I need to turn the piston around, does it need any grinding in the piston skirt, or is the piston skirt symmetrical? Not talking about skirt length.
Thanks a lot, greetings from Bulgaria.

Hello I want to ask if anyone has tried running the piston ring locating groove over the auxiliary outlets? I read that aprilia rsa125 runs it over the C port at 40% width with steel rings, but Simson rings are cast iron I think, will there be a problem with running over 20% of bore with good chamfer and smooth transition?
Thanks a lot. Sorry for using google translate. Greetings from Bulgaria.

Hat jemand das Lotus oder Reichtuning software? Wenn ja, kannst du hochladen? Ich wäre sehr dankbar.
Or in English : Does anyone have the Lotus or Reichtuning software? Cannot find downloads to either, if anyone has them I (and many others) would be very grateful.

    JB Weld works fine.
But i would set two steel pins for more grip.

Hello, I will definitely do that, it looks like a good method, although I'm going to use it on top of uberstromer. Don't know if you can see but the flushing angle is too big vertically, I guess it affects performance.
I will upload a port map soon and if you want more pictures to give me areas to improve upon.
I'm from Bulgaria and never studied Deutsch, used google translate and translated word by word.

Alright, thank you for the quick reply. I was thinking about 1.5 mm, because when I'm using a reed valve I don't really need to be sealing the crankcase, since I'm making a hole in the piston. 1.5 mm I think should be sufficient, any less might cause problems. I'm going to be taking the cylinder off today and will order jbweld to change the uberstromer flushing angles (horizontal and vertical), because when I made the cylinder I didn't think of the importance. Anyone has experience with jbweld in the uberstromer? I can show some pictures of the cylinder after I'm done.
Also what is the correct translation of piston skirt? I hope I didn't write as bad as google translate.
    Mfg Jordan.

Hello Simson freunde, first of all I would like to apologise for typing in English, I'll try to type a German version too.
So I have a s70 - 44.98 kolben, kolben skirt is 38 mm, how wide can I make the einlass if it has a hole - I think 35 mm would be okay, 1.5 mm on both sides for guidance? It's a membraner. Second question - what positioning should the kolben hole to the einlass have? I read that it must be a bit closer to the kolbenring than the middle of the piston? Thanks for the answers, greetings.

How many RPM can the original Simson S51(Electronic) ignition can make? I have heard about 8000 or something, I have got a really good 70/6 cylinder, but I think I need to change my ignition because this one stops it from reving hard. What`s your oppinion?
