Frontscheibe an SR50 für mehr Vmax

I do not know whether to improve aerodynamics, but I can share my experience with the fairing (windshield) to SR50.

In Poland, the windshield costs approx. 30 €. The product made in Taiwan, of course, does not have TUV etc. In my opinion the vehicle looks better. The windshield serves its purpose, the wind does not affect the steering wheel, but lacks protect hands from wind (especially in winter).

Puig windscreen seems to be similar, but is larger and does not match the style. I once bought for approx. 20 €, now is much more expensive. It has a TUV certificates, etc., but is not intended to Simson.
I do not recommend installation of large windshields from Italian scooters. The wind affects the steering wheel, easy way to an accident.

Nie wiem czy poprawić aerodynamikę, ale mogę podzielić się moim doświadczeniem z owiewką (szybą) do SR50.

W polsce taka szyba kosztuje ok. 30€. Produkt made in Taiwan, oczywiÅ›cie nie posiada TUV itp. W mojej opinii pojazd wyglÄ…da lepiej. Szyba speÅ‚nia swoje zadanie, wiatr nie wpÅ‚ywa na prowadzenie, ale brakuje ochrony dÅ‚oni przed wiatrem (szczególnie w zimÄ™).

Przednia szyba Puig wydaje siÄ™ podobna, lecz jest wiÄ™ksza i nie pasuje stylem. KiedyÅ› kupiÅ‚em za ok. 20€, teraz jest dużo droższa. Posiada atesty TUV itp, ale nie jest przeznaczona do Simsona.
Nie polecam montażu wielkich przednich szyb z włoskich skuterów. Wiatr wpływa na kierownicę, łatwo o wypadek.

Installation requires the holder plate (1.5 mm stainless steel is more resistant). Access to the speedometer mounting screw is unfortunately difficult. In my case, I have a handle on turn indicator (due to the M12 bolt).

Unfortunately blows on the helmet, but to protect the body provides greater comfort at speeds above 60 km/h.

The front fork and disc brake that is another topic. It comes from the Chinese chopper 50 cc. Tube diameter is 31 mm, fork length is 74 cm (from the wheel axis to the bridge, 1 cm less than the original), travel is 130 mm.
Of course the need for some modifications. The lower bridge has holes 31 mm. The upper bridge has holes 17 mm. Forks are tuned to SR50 (oil, springs, piston ring). Brake disc has a special adapter (mounted identical to the original Simson). The wheel has a new spacers and seals for bearings. The original twistgrip body is reduced in length.
Modification of cost approx. 120 €. In my opinion it was worth it. The suspension has a hydraulic damping. The brake is much more effective.
Suspension of Honda NS1 (NSR75) looks identical, but of course it is expensive.

Montaż wymaga wykonania uchwytu z blachy (1.5 mm stal nierdzewna jest bardziej wytrzymała). Dostęp do śruby mocującej licznik jest niestety utrudniony. W moim przypadku jest uchwyt kierunkowskazu (ze względu na śrubę M12).

Niestety wieje po kasku, ale ochrona ciała zapewnia większy komfort przy prędkościach powyżej 60 km/h.

Przedni widelec i hamulec tarczowy to inny temat. Pochodzi z chińskiego choppera 50 cm³. Średnica rury nośnej wynosi 31 mm, długość widelca wynosi 74 cm (od osi koła do mostka, 1 cm mniej niż oryginał), skok wynosi 130 mm.
Oczywiście potrzeba kilka przeróbek. Dolna półka ma otwory 31 mm. Górna półka ma otwory 17 mm. Widelce są strojone do SR50 (olej, sprężyny, pierścień tłoka). Tarcza hamulcowa posiada specjalny adapter (montowany identycznie jak oryginał Simson). Koło ma nowe tuleje dystansowe i uszczelniacze dla łożysk. Oryginalny korpus rollgaz jest skrócony.
Modyfikacja kosztowaÅ‚a ok. 120€. Moim zdaniem warto byÅ‚o. Zawieszenie posiada tÅ‚umienie hydrauliczne. Hamulec jest dużo bardziej skuteczny.
Zawieszenie od Honda NS1 (NSR75) wygląda identycznie, ale oczywiście jest drogie.

Da haste recht. Aber das mit der Gabel ist eine nützliche Info.

Na das stimmt allerdings. Mich würde noch der Bohrungsdurchmesser der Holme für die Steckachse interessieren. Eine hydraulische Gabel mit SB Aufnahme (Einbau rechts wie Simson/Bremssattel Bohrungsabstand ist auch gleich) von einer Sachs KX50 (Standrohrdurchmesser 30mm) Länge 75cm-passt ebenfalls. Gr.

I know about the suspension from Sachs and Hercules, in Poland they are poorly accessible. Several people have installed the upside-down suspension from the dirtbike, but I do not know the details...

Śruba osi koła również pochodzi od chińskiego choppera. To jest typowa śruba z kołnierzem M12, z drobnym gwintem (1.25). Nie trzeba zmieniać rozmiaru łożysk.
Wiem o zawieszeniu od Sachs i Hercules, w Polsce są słabo dostępne. Kilka ludzi ma zamontowane zawieszenie upside-down od dirtbike, ale ja nie znam szczegółów.
